Our drivers form a vital link.

Angel Flight’s volunteer drivers provide car transportation between the general aviation airports and medical facilities (or nearby accommodation) which saves passengers the hassle of navigating public transport in a strange city.

Most drives occur in the capital cities (Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Perth) or major towns (such as Newcastle or Rockhampton).

Drivers volunteering for Angel Flight are required to hold a current and valid Australian motor vehicle driver’s licence and have access to a roadworthy and registered vehicle.

Register to volunteer as a driver.

Please note: If you reside in New South Wales or Victoria, to assist with drives which involve passengers under the age of 18, Angel Flight is required to verify that you are in possession of a valid “Working with Children Check”. Once your registration is received, we will supply you with contact details for the respective State Authority to apply for your “Working with Children Check”, which is free for volunteers.
